The Columbine:   This first floor  charmer  is a one bedroom apartment , beautifully furnished in antiques. The bedroom has an antique 4 poster double bed and high boy dresser.  A bench and a rocking chair.   The apartment is mostly open  700+ sq. ft. – it feels very spacious.

A small office/ computer room or breakfast room is at the front of the house. It is furnished with a beautiful marble top chess table and soda fountain chairs of black iron. The renter determines what to do with this room – its small – but very workable.  It also serves as an information room with brochures and maps.

The great room combines a fully equipped kitchen; refrigerator with bottom drawer freezer;  a combination fuel state of the art range/oven; a convection/microwave oven; electric coffee pot and a peninsula bar, so that your friends can chat  or watch TV while you cook. Dishes, pots etc. all included along with flat ware & cooking utensils.   A beautiful, large leather sofa  so you can stretch out and some chairs and stools  in the living area.   Plus an excellent wood stove with glass door and fan.   Lots of newspapers and wood are provided.

Linens are provided along with towels, etc.   Weekly cleaning may be arranged at an extra cost or you may avail yourself of the cleaning utensils in the laundry room.  This is an extremely easy  love-nest to keep clean.

A phone is provided for out-going phone calls, and wireless internet connection is available.  Please use your cell phone for incoming calls and  please always turn your computer OFF when not in use.
A rather large bathroom includes a tiled countertop, cabinets, sink, flush, tub with shower  along with our wonderful pure glycerine soap and  plenty of towels

The Columbine is accessed thru the shared combination lock front door and the off-street parking lot is shared with the Trillium – 1 car per apartment please and please keep to one side.

Remember, we are smoke-free and pet-free.

On your way up to the coast to Canada?   We’re a perfect stopping off place.
